More Fun Times

Fun Family Times

It has been a while since my last blog. We have had a lot going on since February. We finished our sports seasons, went to Philmont, found out we are having another boy, Matthew was baptized, and the boys spent a fun filled week in Phoenix. I won't ramble too much, be I must say Philmont was the best vacation. The boys got to go hiking, ride horses, and eat buffalo:) School starts on Monday, yippee!! I will hopefully get better at posting pictures on this blog. I would rather put up pictures then ramble. Hope you all had a great summer!!

Okay so it has been a while since my last blog, but we have been a little busy. I must admit that it is hard for me to remeber to keep it updated. We have all three boys in sports right now, and we are loving it :) Michael is enjoying scouts and football. He almost has his Webelos badge!! Matthew is in basketball, and the beginnings of baseball. We have put him on a tournament team so we travel around to watch him play. This next weekend we will be in St. George to watch his team play. He looooves baseball and basketball, I guess he loves any sport. Nathan is growing so fast, he learned to ride his bike without any training wheels:( my baby is growing up too fast. Steve and I are enjoying watching the kids grow and take on new things. We hope your new year is all you wanted it to be. Hopefully I will be better at keeping this updated!!

It is just a few days before Christmas and I can say that all my Christmas shopping is done. Now all that I need to do is wrap the presents.(I hate this part of Christmas) The boys are doing great at home for their long break. Today we did the traditional gingerbread houses decorating!! They love this tradition. I am amazed at how much energy they have, or lack of energy that I have.
The other night we drove around the ward to deliver goodies and look at Christmas lights, it was so much fun to look at all the lights while listening to Chrismas music, and for the first time it felt like Christmas. It seems every year it is getting harder and harder to focus on the real meaning of Christmas and not get caught up in the Santa side of Christmas. Well I hope you are all doing great this holiday season. And we wish you a Merry Christmas!!
Love,
The Shaws
